Easy-to-Understand Rental Procedure

The rental procedure from Abbott and Sons Party Rental, based in Englewood, New Jersey, is simplified to help reduce the number of questions you have about our event rentals. Take a look below to learn more about what to expect when you want to make a reservation for any of our products. Additionally, we are glad to discuss these rental procedures, along with any questions you might have, during a free consultation.

Reservations

To hold any items for you, we need a major credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover). Speak with a sales associate to determine the amount of deposit required for your rental package. Checks and debit/check cards are not accepted as a deposit. The entire payment is due before the order goes out for delivery.

Credit card information is required for all orders for security purposes. If your payment option is cash or check upon delivery, the card will not be charged unless payment was not received upon delivery or the conditions under Terms and Policies were not met.

Specifications & Capabilities

Many items in our rental catalog list their own specification and capabilities. These numbers are approximate and subject to change due to updating and replacement of equipment or circumstances beyond our control.

Order Changes

Final changes to item counts need to be placed 24 hours prior to an event. Complete cancellations made prior to 24 hours of the event will receive a full refund of the initial deposit. Cancellations made within six hours of the event will not receive a refund. No refunds are available on specialty order items, including linens, glasses, and tablecloths, no less than two days before event day.

Damage Waiver: Optional

A damage waiver fee of 10% is an option available to renters. This fee relieves the renter of liability of accidental damage to rented items. Excluded from this waiver are any loss or damage due to theft, burglary, mysterious disappearance, mildewed linens, intentional damage, misuse, abuse, or failure to care for rental items as one would their own property.

Examples of damage waiver coverage include: accidental damage, such as chips, cracks, broken china, crystal, and barware; stains, burns, and tears in the linen and skirting; and physical damage to tables or chairs. All damaged or broken items must be returned. Missing items are not covered. The damage waiver fee is non-refundable.
