Delivery & Pickup Simplified for You
The staff at Abbott and Sons Party Rental, based in Englewood, New Jersey, wants to make it easy for you to receive quick and simple delivery and pickup services when you choose to rent from us. That is why we have created an easy way for you to get the party rentals you need for your special event.
Delivery Services for Your Special Event
Delivery is available for a nominal fee based on the zip code your items will be delivered. Deliveries are made Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sunday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. If you require delivery before or after store hours or on a Sunday an additional fee will be added to the regular fee. Please call one of our friendly sale associates for pricing information.
The time of delivery is determined the day before it is scheduled. You may request a three-hour window and we will try our best to make it, however times are not guaranteed. If the rentals are not available on the scheduled return date, there will be an additional day rental. However, we may offer a discount due to unforeseen circumstances, including Mother Nature.
Furthermore, delivery is to the door at street level. If your location is up or down stairs or at some distant location, there will be an additional charge for delivery.
Tenting Services for Parties & Events
You are responsible to tell your sales associate, they should ask, of any hidden pipelines or water sprinkler systems underground when you request a tenting service. This is designed to help prevent unwanted damage occurring to the property the special event is taking place on.
Broken, Damaged, & Missing Rental Items
The customer is responsible for the equipment from the time of delivery until the time of pickup. Be sure equipment is secured when not in use and protected from the weather. Our insurance does not cover equipment while it is in your possession.
Pickup Services for Our Rental Equipment
All items must be assembled in a single location as specified and ready for pickup at the agreed upon time. All china, silver, and utensils should be repacked in the same containers as delivered. Linens should be returned dry and free of waste. Do not roll up or place wet linens in any bag as mildew will result. Tables and chairs must be knocked down and stacked so they are ready for quick pick up.
Setup & Breakdown Services
If you want our team to assist you with setting up or breaking down your rental equipment, you must arrange for the service before your items are delivered. If no arrangements are made and this service is desired on delivery, then our drivers must call for authorization. The costs are usually $1.50 per table and between $.50 and $.75 per chair.
